"Find an indie book but do NOT purchase from amazon. Go to the author's website or socials and purchase the book directly from them. Amazon takes a huge chunk of change from indie authors so when purchasing, this is the best means of supporting an indie author. If that author tells you the only way to purchase is through Amazon, then that is okay but if there are alternative means of purchasing their book that gives them more money from the sale, do so. You may also do this at in-person events like signings/conventions/book fairs."
